I lost my only brother Jesse L. Harris.  Jesse  served from Schofield Barracks, Hawaii 1963-65 with the "Shotgun" 1st Provisional Machine Gun Platoon. Jesse mentioned in his letter dated Nov. 3, 1964 about being 30 miles from Saigon when with the 118th AVNCO. (Ben Hoa).   In January 1965 he was with the 1st Bat. 14th Inf.  Jesse then re-inlisted and on Jan. 1966 was shipped   out with the 14th Inf. 25th Inf. Div. He was  KIA in Nov. 1966. (wished he would have stayed with the Shotgun Div.)  I also did not notice Jesse's name on your memorial page. There is also a change needed  to be made for the "traveling wall" . Jesse's date of birth is incorrect. It should read June 13, 1942 (not 1-13-42) His ID  # is 19650582. If you could forward me a web or phone # to have this changed in the system I would appreciate it.
Sincerely and keep up the good work...looking forward to connect with someone who may have some info on my brother, hugs, little sis....Anna

Jesse, I miss you so much.
Jesse, I visit your beautiful resting place at the Punchbowl in Honolulu quite often. I feel so close to you there. One year when I was placing a lei shaped into a heart I felt this tear from the sky. I looked up and there was only one little cloud right above us, thank you. I know it was not a tear of sadness or pain, but a tear of gladness and joy that we were together again. One day sweet Jesse we will be joking and laughing together again. Save me a place by your side and please keep being my guardian angel and please keep watch over my son too. I wish you could be here to be "Big Uncle" to him and his behavior, can you help him from above? Our mom loves you very much Jesse but I'm afraid she died the day you did. Your love will always be in our hearts.someday we will be together again, I love you.lil sis, Anna
