Both are excellent books detailing the gunners
experiences in Vietnam.
Highest Traditions
The first that I read was written by Tony
Lazzarini. Tony was a member of an Aviation Company called the Little
Bears, a unit of the 25th Avn. Bn. 25th Infantry Div.
The second book I read
was written by James F. Schatz. James was a Shotgunner with "Shotgun
XI" the last Shotgun Platoon. James was a member of the 1st Bn. 35th
Inf. 25th Inf. Div.
